Join Rock Up’s exclusive Home Ed Hangout sessions during term time! It’s a great chance for home educators to connect while the kids burn off energy and have fun.

Climbing is an exciting way for children to stay active, make new friends, and it even complements the national curriculum, making these sessions both fun and educational.

Depot Climbing Birmingham – Home Ed Sessions

Looking for a fun and inclusive climbing experience for home-educated children? Depot Climbing Birmingham offers bouldering sessions for families and groups in a friendly, accessible environment.

Home educators can benefit from tailored sessions that promote safe, enjoyable climbing while supporting curriculum learning. Depot Climbing is certified to deliver the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) for those advancing towards educational goals. Their Kids Club sessions focus on fun and safety, making them perfect for newer climbers or as an exciting end-of-term activity.

Depot Climbing also caters to SEN-specific groups, offering private sessions with personalized support for all abilities.

  • Minimum age for Kids Club/Accessible sessions: 4 years

  • NICAS participants must be 7-18 years old

No prior climbing experience is needed, but participants and guardians must accept the risks involved. Sessions are led by instructors with a 1:6 ratio, with adjustments for younger or SEN groups. Custom bookings are available upon request.
